The Bell Witch is the name given to a mysterious ghost, poltergeist, demon or other entity that terrorized the Bell Family in Adams, Tennessee between 1817 to 1821. From tapping, knocking and scratching noises, sightings of strange creatures and black dogs to full conversations with a female, disembodied voice, the Bell Witch is a legend that has baffled and intrigued audiences for years. Was it a hoax or some strange paranormal phenomenon?
