Battery Modifying from Chevy Volt for DIY Powerwall, Gen 2

I'm modifying an 18kwh (Gen 2) battery from a Chevy Volt EV hybrid, so that I can use the cells in a DIY Powerwall. The original battery is all wired in series for 355 volts. I'm breaking it down into 8 smaller batteries, each with 44 volts. Now I will be able to use standard 48 volt equipment.

This set-up will provide me off-grid backup power in case of an emergency. It will complement my generator. My plan is to hook this up to solar panels for charging.

I bought the used battery from a junkyard and took it apart in my previous video here: https://youtu.be/AjAlBGEfdbs
