WA CLIFF COAST Pt.2 | Israelite Bay | Cape Arid National Park | Orleans Bay | Esperance | Wyllie Bay

In part two, we continue our journey west, departing the Bilbunya Dunes and setting our sights on Israelite Bay, Cape Arid and finally Esperance.

With light quickly running out on the beach near Bilbunya Dunes, we make a dash to Cape Arid National Park to set up camp only to realise the camp is full of mosquitoes.

We push through the night deeper into Cape Arid NP, unable to find a suitable camp we find ourselves driving through bog holes, sand and overgrown narrow tracks…

After finally finding a NP camp ground, we woke up to more amazing weather, exploring the cost around Thomas River and Orleans Bay.

Stay at Orleans Bay Caravan Park, we hit some of the local 4WD tracks that access some of the most pristine and empty beaches we’ve ever visited. Sitting on white sand, on an empty beach, with the family and a cold beverage watching the sun set, how much better can it get?

Finally we make the 22km beach drive from Cape Le Grand NP to Wyllie Bay where we are luckily enough to see more Great Right Whales close to shore.

We hope you have enjoyed coming along with us on this two part series following the spectacular WA cliff coast. We had a great time and made some long lasting memories as a family together.
