For the first time Russia launches the two-decker electric train on the Moscow Central Circle. Muscovites will decide whether to have it permanently. A double-decker train will run at the Moscow Central Circle (MCC) until September 8. Then Muscovites will decide whether to have it permanently. Sergei Sobyanin wrote about this on his page on the Twitter social network.
"Double-decker train was launched at the MCC in test mode. It will run until September 8, and then we will invite passengers to vote: do you need one or not? If Muscovites like it, we will select trains and a manufacturer."

The Moscow Central Circle or MCC (Russian: Московское центральное кольцо, МЦК), designated Line 14 and marked in a strawberry red/white color is a 54-kilometer-long (34 mi) orbital urban/metropolitan rail line that encircles historical Moscow. The line is rebuilt from the Little Ring of the Moscow Railway and opened to passengers on 10 September 2016 and is operated by the Moscow Government-owned company MKZD through the Moscow Metro, with the state-run Russian Railways selected as the operation subcontractor. The infrastructure, trackage, and platforms are owned and managed by Russian Railways, while most station buildings are owned by MKZD.
