KBDfans Roller V2 Sound Test | Unique Metal Bearing Switch Design!

The KBDfans Roller V2 are highly pleasurable linear switches with super smooth travel, a snappy feel, and amazing sound! These switches use very small metal bearings at the base, which is the first time I’ve seen this design. They are impressive premium switches with excellent performance and a unique typing experience.

In this video, I test the KBDfans Roller V2 switches with GMK, MT3, and SA keycaps, all on the same mechanical keyboard to ensure a fair and accurate sound comparison. All acoustic tests were recorded in a controlled environment to reveal each switch’s true sound signature, both with and without keycaps.

Keyboard: DZ60 PCB with Tofu60 aluminum case
Plate: FR4
Tests performed: Typing test, slow bottom-out test, and decibel meter readings (with and without keycaps)
