How do you know you need a new helmet?

PSA (public service announcement) from Rave X. If your helmet looks like this...you need a new helmet. A while back a customer brought this helmet in to get updated. We are concerned that many people ride with lids like this and that is scary. This helmet is old and the inner foam is broken down. The shell has become brittle and the safety ratings are null and void after this length of time. If you have a bike then you need good helmet. We have helmets for 99.99 that are awesome with proper DOT safety ratings.
