Getting to 200 pounds wasn't just about taking the bulk too far.

It was a bad year hitting all at once.

My friend group fell apart. My startup failed. I lost my girlfriend. I was stuck doing an internship in the middle of nowhere doing work I didn't care about. And I had no idea where my life was going.

The gym was the one place none of that mattered. So I kept showing up. And I kept eating.

Eventually I was 200 pounds, sluggish, and had to be honest with myself - I'd used the bulk as an escape.

So I fixed it the only way I knew how. Same way I built it. Simple daily habits. Tracking every workout. Filming a progress clip every single day - I have over 500 of them now.

No extreme cut. No overhaul. Just the same boring system repeated until it worked.

The hard year built the foundation. The habits built the physique.

If your life feels like it's falling apart right now - the gym might be the one thing you can actually control.
