Map method in javaScript arrays

The map() method in JavaScript is used to create a new array by applying a function to each element of an existing array. It does not modify the original array; instead, it returns a new one with transformed values. The map() method is commonly used for data transformation, such as modifying objects, performing calculations, or formatting values.
This method takes a callback function as an argument, which is executed on each array element. The callback function receives three parameters:
1. Current element – The value being processed.
2. Index (optional) – The index of the current element.
3. Array (optional) – The full array being processed.
array.map(callback(element, index, array))
The callback function should return the modified value, which will be placed in the new array. Since map() processes each element, the output array always has the same length as the input array.

The map() method is useful for modifying elements, such as converting strings to uppercase, multiplying numbers, extracting specific properties from objects, and more. It is widely used in functional programming and is a key method in modern JavaScript, especially when working with arrays of objects, UI lists, or API responses.
