Derek Minor’s Reflection album released on October 14, 2016 on his Reflection Music Group label has received coverage in respected outlets Billboard, HipHopDX, RESPECT and Rapzilla. On November 25th Minor premieres a video for the album’s opening track, “Look at Me Now" on BET Gospel.

In the video directed by Patrick Tohill, Minor recalls his days as a teenage aspiring rapper and producer. “I remember being 15 years old, sitting in my room with a Roland JX305 keyboard and an eight track mixer with dreams of making music and people listening,” he says. “Fast forward to today and I'm living that dream. It's a humbling thing because many people don't get that opportunity. ‘Look at Me Now’ is for all the dreamers out there who have big goals. If I can do it, so can you. You were made for greatness.”

Derek Minor is a member of a small, elite class of hip hop artists who are adept at MCing, producing, and running their own companies. His wordplay and relatable lyrics have made him an in-demand collaborator who has worked with the likes of Lecrae, Andy Mineo, and Colton Dixon.

Minor is released his sixth album, Reflection, on October 14 on his Reflection Music Group in partnership with Entertainment One. The album includes the lead single “You Know It,” “Until I’m Gone” featuring BJ The Chicago Kid, “Love Go High” featuring Chrisette Michele, “I’m Good” featuring Janice Gaines, among other tracks.
