MINI EXCAVATOR PURCHASE AND FIRST USE ON MY LAND (EP 11)

David and his family drive to Houston to pick up a mini excavator he purchased through the Alibaba website. Expanding a pond is his goal so the new mini excavator will be a welcome site to the land where he can start digging a hole for some fish to swim in.

Below is information about my purchase...

I ordered and paid for the excavator through Alibaba which was $3750 + $250 for the grapple attachment. The customs broker handled the other fees and billed me. The total was $5750. Note that I picked up directly at the warehouse so there were no shipping fees for delivery other than the U-haul trailer. The customs broker communicated with the seller and directed me on which forms to sign. The import tax was 25% so that is figured into the total cost.
