SSB Chairman Meeting Upholds 'Zero Tolerance Policy' To Poll Malpractice Ahead Of Phase-II Voting

Director General of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) Sanjay Singhal chaired a high-level review meeting in Howrah ahead of West Bengal Assembly Elections Phase 2 on April 29. Attended by district force coordinators, commandants, company commanders, Central Armed Police Forces personnel, IG Frontier Siliguri, DIG, and Nodal Officer SSB, the meeting focused on operational readiness.

DG Singhal emphasized a zero-tolerance policy against electoral malpractices, directing forces to ensure a fear-free environment for free, fair, and peaceful polls. He urged strict adherence to ECI guidelines, upholding impartiality, discipline, and alertness.
