Toledo Police K-9 Falko Mermorial Service

Toledo Police K9 Falko was killed in the line of duty August 12, 2015 while trying to apprehend a suspect. Falko was the first K9 dog to be killed in the Toledo Police department's history. Falko was a hero to the city and the police department and will be greatly missed. This memorial service was open to the Public at the Huntington Center in downtown Toledo. A street was closed off for officers who traveled from near and far to pay respects a place to park. Falko's handler and partner Samantha carried his ashes into their police cruiser #405 for one last ride together and a police convoy left shortly after as shown in the video. It was a very honoring and saddening event and I was happy to be able to go and pay respect to this fallen Hero.
