How to draw a Japanese Koi fish (part 3)

Todays how to draw video is phase 3 in a line of tutorials that will take you through the process of an artwork from start to finish. The subject matter I chose is a Koi fish, a beautiful and deceptively difficult subject to draw correctly. In this video I’ll be going through the process of lining your sketch, transferring it to watercolour paper and also painting in the background elements using black shading and a technique called spit shading. In this video we will finalise our line work and black shading and have it ready for the colour phase.
