These girls are clearly taking over my life and you will find no resistance on my end! I absolutely loved this! Unsurprisingly almost because their discography is stelar and I really have nothing to say about it but good things only (which I don’t understand how it is possible so early on their career but oh well, they’re doing that). Not only is the song incredibly catchy (ever since the teaser dropped, I had that tune stuck in my head the same way I had ‘anti fragile’ stuck in my head) but the lyrics makes this song so much better and the delivery was impeccable once again. I swear, the feeling of rebellious freedom is so delicious! I loved the feeling the chorus gave of freeing yourself from the standards that were put onto you and getting rid of everything that put you down and held you back to finally move forward the way you want it, unapologetically yourself, towards the new, free you and THAT is so inspiring! I loved loved loved this! The MV was fun to watch, loved the ‘Kill Bill’ references and yes I was too rushed when I said that this was gonna be video of the year because I honestly don’t think so because their trailer still wins against this tbh. Always, what a fantastic comeback!
