Will we See More Spiritual Successors in Gaming?

We've been seeing a lot of spiritual successors in gaming thanks to Kickstarter. From Mighty No. 9, Nightcry, Yooka-Laylee, and now Bloodstained Ritual of the Night. Each game based off of past gaming series respectively, Megaman, Clock Tower, Banjo and Kazooie, and Castlevania. This makes for a happy AlphaOmegaSin.
I wonder what other game developers behind famous game franchises will venture off to continue their legacy that fans love. What games will they be based off of?
