BEIRUT restaurants reopen after explosion! (Food vlog)

In my last collaboration with Beirutfood, we spent the day in one of the closest neighborhoods to the explosion in Beirut, Mar Mikhael. With Florence Ryan and Jad Irani, our goal was to shed light on the struggling but incredibly resilient businesses that got rebuilt in the months following the explosion. They offer great food and clearly show the potential of the gastronomy industry of Lebanon. Let’s support local because Lebanese businesses are staying!

Here are the places we visited and my main takeaways:
1:23 Kaakeh Square: You NEED to taste te Knefeh Kezzebeh. After the vlog, we went back 4/5 times to taste it again.
3:35 Pizza by the Slice: Best "New York" style pizzas in Lebanon. There's so mouth-watering.
4:45 Souk El Tayeb: One of my favorite restaurants in Lebanon. The food quality and diversity are INCREDIBLE, there's a new chef cooking something different every day, they sell and promote local products from all over the country, they have a community kitchen, and they rebuild the whole thing only in a month and a half after the explosion.
6:26 Crew Hut: I still love this place so much. It was our first destination to eat when we had a break in school.
7:17 Mac N’ Cheese: The vibes, bro. The food is really good too: simple, fast and very tasty.
8:19 Frooza Booza: I never saw anything like this before. The concept is SO cool, and they even let me create my first (disastrous) ice cream roll.
