Making a Bed Frame | Part II - Making the Cross Members

Part 2 of the bed frame series which goes over making the cross members of the bed frame. The bulk of this work was done with the Bosch 1617 router with a plunge base and attached edge guide. This tool is seriously a work horse. I can’t recommend it enough.

Lessons learned in this episode:
1. Measure FAR MORE OFTEN THAN YOU CUT. I messed up a couple of the cuts and luckily I was able to recover from them pretty easily but man oh man could it have been bad. ALWAYS measure and check the drawing before you make cuts. Can’t be said enough
2. Reiterate that initial dimensioning of your boards is critical. I still ran into issues during this part of the build because of my shoddy dimensioning work. Don’t start any of the project until all your boards dimensioned
