Linda's Forest Restoration and Winter #gardening for #birds (Garden Story Series)

Linda Corcoran, a member of the Baltimore Club, discovered that feeding birds through native gardening is the way she likes to birdwatch. In 2020, Linda started tackling the nightmare of Japanese stiltgrass and other invasive plants that took over when her ash trees and other trees in her backyard died and exposed the shaded forest floor to sun. Invasive non-native plants don't support the insect populations that birds need to thrive. In part 2 of Linda's Garden Story we see the incredible hard-won progress she's made, and meet her neighbor Allison, whom she first met when she put out a call for plastic milk and juice jugs for her winter sowing project.
