" 'Internal Criticism'...'
Higher Criticism' it's been termed, where you take a text of Scripture, exegesis should do this, they have to do this, and then it's subjected to what's called 'Internal Criticism', in other words they go back to the original languages and they study those languages and they read it and they arrive at the meaning of what the author tried to convey. What was that human author of that scripture, what was he trying to say? You've got to be careful,.
Though with 'Internal Criticism', we've got to watch out and be careful. We want to study the text, we want to be able to use and interpret those ancient languages in which the Scriptures were written in the first place, we want to study those ancient cultures..BUT 'internal criticism' is limited, very limited.
