Emma started out at an early age playing with code, but her true passion didn’t unfold until she entered a technology challenge at 10 years old. It was then that she channeled her knowledge towards helping others, specifically her grandmother, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. Emma created an app, Timeless, that uses AI-based facial recognition technology to helps Alzheimer’s patients recognize people around them, allowing them to connect with friends and family.
