Remembering Rafiki and Karibu .

These 2 brothers were born in mara north around 2011 nobody know´s the pride for sure, this 2 brothers taked the marsh pride in 2015 from Musketers who were spending to much time with rekero pride, Rafiki and Karibu fathered some cubs to adulthood in marsh pride 4 to be exact 2 boys and 2 girls, but in 2018 when the 6 Bilashakas appeared Rafiki and Karibu left musiara marsh and entered in mara north marsh pride and sub adults followed the pride males, later in the summer when the pride returned the matriarch of the pride was missing Charm never appear again, we never saw the 4 sub adults to and Rafiki & Karibu took over the cheli pride and leaved marsh pride for good, in october 2018 Karibu was caught by Lenkume and Pilipili and left him badly injured, with a fractured leg, it was beyond repair and so the vet had no option other than to euthanize him. Rafiki was fine and with the large Cheli spilt group. later the 4 Iseketa boys took over cheli pride and killed the cubs, Rafiki started the nomad life and meet a new partner at ol chorro conservancy it was the same lion who badly injured his brother Lenkume and both males took the buibui pride and fathered cubs, but unfortunately they meet a tragic destiny they were caught in humans snares Lenkume, Rafiki, a sud adult 4 hyenas and 1 eland all killed by humans very sad this was in october 2020 ...
