Leather skull mask helmet tutorial

It took considerable time and effort but we managed to skin the devil's head .. as a matter of speaking. We actually did this one on request from our wonderful leather crafting community and we had a lot of fun making it. The design is based on our previous skull but it has some tweaks and adjustments to make it suitable for wearing it on the head. The horns are a little extra we thought throwing in will pose a bit of a challenge for you guys. They are optional but we hope you'll try making them as this is a very unique design that you probably haven't tried before. We used 7 oz veg tan for the helmet and 5-6 oz for the horns. The whole project is naturally cross stitched and it should take about a day or so to accomplish. This should also initiate you a bit into wet forming vegetable tanned leather or give you the chance to practice your skills if you've done wet molding before.
