JToH - Tower of Elongated Runs Beaten

A 15 month journey brought to a close.
I genuinely don't even know where to begin with this.

This took a while. Of course it was a massive jump from ToGF and all but i still would have never expected it to take THIS long. A lot of people talk about this tower "clicking" after a while and then you can get to 5/7 easily, but i don't feel like that ever happened to me. This was just a constant struggle from beginning to end, and it can really get on your nerves. Especially 3 and 4, failing those floors feels like an insult, and there were times where i went literal weeks without a run to 5-7 or even 4.

Despite all the annoying negatives I have to say about my grind and all breaks I took, i genuinely love this tower. This is everything i want a catastrophic tower to be.
Even when practicing this for the first few runs it felt genuinely impossible. It was only after a couple months or so that I actually started to make progress, practice runs got easier, and the whole thing started showing its cracks. Just simply getting a run to 5 or 7 feels amazing, and pb's feel like fever dreams. It was honestly such a fun time progressing through this tower and learning all the tricks to make it more bearable. I am a million times better at long jumps and basic wraps than i was when i started this grind.
This is such a massive, 30 minute gauntlet where you learn to not take *anything* for granted. Getting consistent at a single jump feels like a milestone, and it's a feeling i really dont get from many towers nowadays; This tower truly has stood the test of time.

What's next after this? ToDIE probably, but i want to shift my focus away from the main game of JToH and instead just screw around with other fangames or just whitelisted towers. Don't worry I'll get back to TGC soon.

This completion is dedicated to all the people who couldn't beat this, and i know a few of those people personally. It's so heart wrenching when you just can't do something you really wanted to. I know me beating this wont make up for all those other people, but I hope it's something. This is such a strange, stupid community, and I can't help but love it. I've made so many friends from this game, and i hope that doesn't change.
