Discover recovery college Kirklees provides a platform for people to come together to develop, deliver, and take part in courses with the aim of improving wellbeing through learning. Courses are co-designed and co-delivered by people with real life experience, sharing what works for them.

Working together is at the core of the recovery college and is a daily part of what they do. Over the last two years they have developed a strong and committed base of supporters, each bringing their ideas and opinions which support the college to develop a system which truly puts learners at the centre.

"The recovery college has turned on its head the top down deficit model of delivering public services and achieved the sort of change the public sector talk about wanting to see.
