From Zach Choi, to Eat With Boki, Nikocado Avocado, and Trisha Paytas - Mukbang and ASMR food content is extremely popular on Youtube. This video aims to explain why we love watching other people eat so much - as well as the rise and popularity of food content in general.

As we'll learn, food is an incredibly potent visual stimuli. And just looking at it - even through a screen can be enough to make us hungry - or even 'satisfy' us, as if we had eaten ourselves.
