Random Thought:
Posting this video on Thursday - and this afternoon I get to go see dad!! Visiting is really limited due to COVID guidelines, so they're allowing only one designated person that can visit per day. My aunt who lives in STL was there yesterday and I'm going today. We have people set up to go each day! He's now out of the ICU and in a regular hospital room, and is feeling better than he thought he would! Maybe by this weekend we'll learn more about when they'll let him go home.

SIDE-NOTE: I really feel for those of you who have also had a family member needing ICU-level medical care but have not been able to get treatment close to home due to all the COVID hospitalizations. When my dad went to the ER near us late last week, they said there were no ICU beds there so they would have to operate elsewhere, and there was ONE bed at that time in St. Louis. I mean... this was incredible that he got in and I think about that everyday. Keep in mind- the vaccination rate were I live is not super impressive. Getting vaccinated could very likely keep you out of the hospital... and it could also make it possible for others to receive the non-covid-related life saving care they desperately need. Something to think about. Love & hugs to you all!
