This small church stands out both by its unusual interior and the unique Capuchine Crypts hidden underneath it.

In contrast to the opulence of many other churches in Rome, this small building greets its visitors by a modestly decorated interior, as well as bare walls on the exterior.

One only needs to take the few steps underground to uncover the church's true treasure though. The majestic crypts hold the bones of some 4000 Capuchin friars, who are placed in 6 chapels and arranged in various religious motifs and symbols.
