Ep. 4: Assembling the Dress - DIY Couture Cocktail Dress

To assemble the couture dress a number of different techniques are used; hand basting, machine stitching, pressing, catch-stitching the seam allowances to the underlining, strengthening the waist seam, applying mini-facings to corners, self-facing, installing a zipper by hand using a pick stitch, mitered corners on the skirt vent, etc.
