Alligator Gorge bikepacking adventure

Two Wander Yonder to the outback for a night near South Australia's best regional mountain biking town, Melrose. We set off for Alligator gorge for a one night bike packing adventure. Our plans had to change when we found out that we couldn't camp in the national park at this time of year, so we ended up having to climb back out from the gorge adding 200+ meters of climbing to the first day. We also ran out of water once we got to the gorge as the taps marked on the map were dry. Luckily there were some nice people in the carpark with spare water. It was a great two days and we are planning our next trip already.
