Chitra Ganesh’s Midnight Moment in Times Square
Chitra Ganesh’s The Scorpion Gesture was presented in Times Square for Times Square Arts’ Midnight Moment in November 2018.
Midnight Moment is the world’s largest, longest-running digital art exhibition, synchronized on electronic billboards throughout Times Square nightly from 11:57 PM to midnight.
The Scorpion Gesture is presented in partnership with the Rubin Museum of Art’s exhibition Chitra Ganesh: The Scorpion Gesture, February 2, 2018 – January 7, 2019; and with The Kitchen’s exhibition Chitra Ganesh: Her garden, a mirror, September 12 – October 20, 2018. The Scorpion Gesture was developed and animated with the STUDIO NYC.
Chitra Ganesh: Face of the Future and The Scorpion Gesture is made possible by Rasika and Girish Reddy, Manoj and Rita Singh, Akhoury Foundation, and contributors to the 2018 Exhibitions Fund.
