Conclusion :

Overall, a good first experience flying Iberia in Business Class. Back in 2021, seat selection was still free for Business passengers. An unexpected aircraft swap from an A320 to an A321 wasn’t a big issue, though it made filming more difficult since I was seated too far forward from the engines.

Fast-track security at Geneva Airport was quick and much appreciated. At the time, the British Airways lounge was closed, so Iberia used the Marhaba Lounge, which was decent. The food selection was limited, with no hot meals, but that was understandable given the COVID restrictions. However, the lounge had a great apron view of the airport, which was a nice bonus.

Onboard, the crew provided hand wipes upon arrival. The seat was comfortable, offering great legroom, a blocked middle seat, recline function, a headrest, a power outlet, and a coat hook. My seat, 4F, also had two windows! Wi-Fi was available, and digital inflight magazines were offered.

A hot meal was served—a pleasant surprise for a flight under two hours! There were two options: chicken or pasta. I chose the chicken, which tasted good but was a bit dry.

Overall, it was a solid experience with Iberia. The crew was fine—nothing particularly outstanding, but the service met expectations.
