I Bought The World's BAD GPU!

I Bought The World’s BAD GPU!

BAD GPU — even the name sounds like a warning label, and honestly, it should be. When I first got my hands on it, BAD GPU looked harmless enough: small heatsink, single fan, and a brand name you probably haven’t heard of since 2010. But the moment I installed it, BAD GPU showed its true colors — literally. Artifacts everywhere, crashes mid-benchmark, and frame drops that made even YouTube playback a challenge.

BAD GPU struggled to run Windows smoothly, let alone modern games. I tried Fortnite on low settings, and the result was like watching a slideshow at 20 FPS. Then I tested CS2 — instant freeze. BAD GPU seemed cursed from the start. Yet, part of me couldn’t give up. After all, if it’s called BAD GPU, maybe there’s still a story behind it.

With a bit of cleaning, new thermal paste, and a mild overclock (yes, I actually overclocked it), BAD GPU began to show slight improvement. Suddenly, older titles like Skyrim and League of Legends became playable — barely, but still. BAD GPU might not be good, but it’s definitely entertaining.

In the end, BAD GPU taught me something: not every upgrade needs to make sense. Sometimes it’s about the fun of experimentation, the satisfaction of reviving forgotten tech, or just the laugh you get from watching BAD GPU try its best. And for that reason alone, BAD GPU is unforgettable.
