After the Apostle Paul's conversion on the Road to Damascus, & after spending time in Arabia learning about the Gospel Message from Jesus,
Paul began his Missionary Journeys to Asia Minor (Turkey) and into Europe to Greece and eventually Rome. Paul spent considerable time in the 3 major cities of the Roman Empire taking the gospel to the Gentiles. Corinth was the first to those cities where he spent 18 months establishing an ecclesia / church before returning to Antioch and then going to Ephesus.
