How To Trim Windows Van Conversion Build Window Trim for DIY Van Interior Design vanlife Promaster

This is Part 2 of the window trim series. For van life, converting the van for comfort when travelling, camping or boondocking is so important. The van builder has many things to consider. Too often the build is focused on the technical parts, the 12 volt wiring system, the Renogy MPPT controller, or the Coleman solar panels that feed it electricity. Will we have a DC-DC charging system or shore power through a converter. We spend hours deciding between AGM Deep cycle and Lithium Ion Battery https://www.voyagerrv.ca/ . There are so many choices and that’s only the van conversions electric system. We have to think about the benefits of Maxair fans or Fantastic fans ( we used both ), will we have a domectic cooler or fridge https://www.dometic.com/en-us/outdoor/food-and-beverage/coolers . We spend so many hours trying to figure the van components it’s easy to rush to finish when you can see the end. But that would be a mistake. The last things you do on your van build are the ones you’ll see every time you use it. As we travel down the road in our RV or camper van we do it to take in the sites. Camping in the mountains or boondocking beside a lake. We want to see these things and having windows that don’t distract your view is critical to a wonderful vanife.

This is how we installed our windows https://youtu.be/OUv7JOg1fwY

One of our favourite places to camp in our van is the Victoria Park camp Ground In Cobourg Ontario - right on the beach https://www.cobourg.ca/en/town-hall/Victoria-Park-Campground.aspx?_mid_=105725
