Alien: Earth is here… but does it deserve to exist?
In this Alien: Earth video essay / review, I’m coming at Season 1 from a filmmaker’s perspective with an honest, no-sugarcoating breakdown of what works, what absolutely doesn’t, and why this entry feels like a major dent in the legacy of Alien (1979) and Aliens (1986).

I wanted this show to be great. I love the franchise. But Alien: Earth left me frustrated with weak writing, bad character choices, and a weird reality where a show titled Alien somehow lets the xenomorph get outshined. We’re talking missed horror, minimal dread, and concepts like the hybrids that could’ve been incredible… but get handled like a joke instead of a terrifying sci-fi identity nightmare.

This isn’t hate for clicks. This is fandom with standards.
And yes — despite my overall disappointment, I still answer the big question:
Should Alien: Earth exist?
…and should there be a Season 2?
