Case 19: Manual of CTO Interventions - CrossBoss for in-stent CTO
Right coronary artery CTO due to in-stent restenosis was very efficiently crossed by using the CrossBoss catheter. Intravascular ultrasound showed a combination of stent underexpansion and neontima formation. Drug-eluting stents were deployed and postdilated to achieve good expansion as confirmed by IVUS. Distal embolization occurred in the right posterolateral branch due to thrombus. After aspiration using an Export catheter, TIMI 3 flow was restored in all branches.
