About the song:
This track is one of the pieces from the album Samnite Black Metal that best describes the evolution and journey the band has taken since its inception.

The lyrics speak of the spirit animal used by the Samnites, in this case represented by the Wolf, which guided them on their path to discovering new lands.

This piece represents a fusion of history and mythology. The wolf is seen as a sort of demon leading the Samnite armies to victory under the will and power of Mamerte (Mars), the god of war and one of the deities worshipped by the people.
All the victims claimed by its fangs, followed by the army, serve as offerings to the gods, who in turn grant the Samnites new strength.

At the end of the battle, the statue of the goddess Kerres, the goddess of birth, rises high, satisfied by the blood sacrifice. She bestows upon the people the gifts of life, fertility, abundant harvests, and good omens under the protection of the deities.
