British singer Calum Scott performed this song as part of his audition on Britain's Got Talent in 2015. Calum later independently released the song in March 2016 and it became a hit for the singer earning him a record deal with Capitol Records. The original version of this song was first performed as an electro pop ballad by Swedish singer-songwriter Robyn who co-wrote the song with Patrik Berger who also produced the song track. A new re-arrangement of this song as a piano instrumental was created in 2011 by the very talented Jamie Cleaton, a musician/producer/writer from Wales. Calum used that new version for this BGT audition and created a masterpiece of work with talented vocals and great music that magically spoke to listeners and it worked!

So lesson number 1 in singing..... if you really like a song but can't sing it the way it was originally written and performed or maybe it's not in your key and unfortunately it may be completely out of your vocal range, don't be afraid to sing it YOUR OWN WAY and put your own spin on it..... sometimes it works better than the original song!
