Bandai Sent Us Gundam Assemble | UK Games Expo 2026 Painting Competition Build & Gunpla Comparison

In this video I talk directly about something very exciting, I’ve been sent a Gundam Assemble miniature sprue by Bandai, and we’ve been selected to take part in a painting competition judged at UK Games Expo 2026, woop woop.

I start by showing the sprue up close and explaining what I have learnt about Gundam Assemble so far, we will be attending a presentation at the UK Games Expo to learn more. I show you how these miniatures work, click together, what glue I am thinking of using and try to get out of my Warhammer tabletop gaming mind. I then switch to a top-down camera to show me building and assemble the Char’s Zaku II Gundam Assemble miniature we have been sent. I hope this shows how easy it is to snap together and even though I do use glue I do not think it is needed as they are very beginner friendly. I share my thoughts as I build, including ideas for how I might approach painting it for the competition and thoughts as they pop into my head.

I also unbox a HG Shin Burning Gundam Gunpla kit to compare the Gundam Assemble miniatures with full-sized Gunpla model kits.
