How to exit firmware update on MIB touch not working (VW Seat Skoda)

#Touch screen not working in VW, Seat, or Skoda will cause MIB2 #firmware update to stuck if you can't press the back arrow in top-right corner. Rebooting the unit will not help, but there are ways to fix this issue and complete the #MIB2 software update procedure.

💻 Use diagnostic tool like OBDeleven and follow the procedure:
Module 5F → Adaptation → Confirmation of Installation Change
Copy current value of the key in this adaptation channel.
Go to I'm So XORy online calculator: http://mib-helper.com/im-so-xory/
Paste the key and generate new one.
Input new key into the adaptation channel and save it.

⚠️ New value will not be stored in the adaptation channel and application will hang. That's normal.
ℹ️ Unit should reboot automatically, but you can do it manually if it's not happening on its own.
ℹ️ On some units (most likely PQ units) you can use the VOICE button to skip this screen. Try pressing it shortly or press and hold for couple seconds.
