Mavin married Vickie Bowman and also has a stepson Mario who is also a recording artist. He has appeared in movies including a number of Tyler Perry films and television shows and has recorded with numerous other musicians and singers. He is also the pastor and founder of The Perfecting Church in Detroit, Michigan. This clip was recorded at Hill Street Baptist Church in Louisville, KY.
