How to Clean Up Your 2D Animations in Makko AI
The first time you generate a 2D animation with AI, it looks rough. Too many frames, a green tint around the edges, a bit of artifacting if you freeze it. Most people stop there and decide AI animation isn't good enough yet. The real fix takes about ten minutes and zero drawing skill.

In this one I take a sword attack that came out of the generator looking messy and clean it into something you could drop straight into a game. No repainting, no redrawing frame by frame. Just deleting the bad frames, trimming it down to the part that matters, resizing it to actual game size, and baking the sprite sheet. Along the way you'll see how Makko's rebuilt cleanup screen in Art Studio handles background removal, why a green screen leaves a tint on particle effects, and why your first generation almost never comes out ready, which is the same reason pro studios still edit everything by hand.
The animation I started with wasn't good. A few edits later it was clean enough that nobody playing would ever know it started as AI.

AI gets you most of the way there, not all the way. The frames come out usable, and your job is to delete what's messy, keep what's clean, and trim it to the few frames a fast game animation actually needs. That isn't a workaround. It's the same thing professional animators do, minus the part where you have to draw. Put ten minutes into each one and you end up with a game that looks like any other good indie release.
