What's going on guys! Victor here, and today I'm sharing my 3 tips for overcoming stress and getting rid of negative thoughts.
I'm no stranger to negative thinking and mental health problems but I believe I've been able to find multiple ways to cope with them that work great for me. I thought it would be a good idea to share my experience with you and encourage you to think more positively and improve your mental health.
Tip 1 - go to bed earlier! It's a proven scientific fact that negative thoughts often come at night, at 1 am, 2 am or at similar time. Don't wait for them! Just go to sleep earlier and this will do wonders both for your mental and physical health.
Tip 2 - write down your negative thoughts! Again, it's scientifically proven that writing your negative thoughts down helps you get rid of stress and depression.
Tip 3 is the most important one - change your environment! Remember that you ARE your environment. You are really the average of five people you hang out with. Thus, the best way to deal with negative thinking is by changing your environment! Learn a foreign language, go traveling, change your social circle. Or even look for a new job in a new country. It's absolutely possible so don't be scared!
