Dynamite Recipe with Tips para di Maanghang - Pinoy Easy Recipes

How to cook simple dynamite recipe also known as "dynamite sticks" or "dynamite lumpia"

Ingredients

35 pcs. siling haba
35 pcs. lumpia wrapper
35 pcs. cheese sliced into small strips
2 cloves garlic
1 medium onion
1/2 kg ground beef
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 egg and a cup of breadcrumbs (as coating) (optional only if you like your dynamite more crunchy)
ketchup with mayonnaise as dipping sauce

Cooking Instructions

1. Cut one side of the siling haba and remove all the seeds including the linings inside. This will greatly reduce the spicyness of siling haba. Make sure to wear gloves when doing so because direct contact from its seeds can cause burning sensation.
2. When all the seeds from every siling haba has been removed, boil some water in a pan.
3. Blanch the siling haba for about 10 seconds. Remove from pan, drain and set side first.
4. Meanwhile, prepare meat filling.
5. Saute garlic and onion then add ground beef afterwards.
6. Continue sauteing for about 10 minutes or until it has completely dried off.
7. Add salt, pepper and brown sugar and saute for another 1 minute then its done.
8. Then wrap siling haba with lumpia wrapper.
9. Place siling haba on top of lumpia wrapper. Put in cheese inside and fill the remaining spaces with ground beef then close the wrapper by rolling it. Slightly wet your finger to easily seal the wrapper.
10. Dip the lumpia in beaten egg then roll over to breadcrumbs. Repeat until all are done.
11. Then deep fry over medium heat or until golden brown in color.
12. Serve with dipping sauce of your choice. I prefer mayonnaise with ketchup.
13. Store the dynamites in freezer when plan to cook for some other time.
