Thai Visa - How to Apply For a One Year Education Visa in 2021

Would you like to stay in Thailand for longer than a two week holiday? You can with a Thai Visa. There are a few different options available. In today’s video I’m going to talk to you about how you can stay in the country for one year with a Thai Education visa.

Currently to enter Thailand there are two options available to you. If you’re fully vaccinated you can fly to either Phuket or Koh Samui and spend a minimum of 14 days on that island before travelling around the rest of the country. Alternatively if you’re not vaccinated you would need to spend your first 14 days in an ALQ or ASQ hotel. In previous videos I have shared information about both of these processes.

Back in March I made the decision to travel back to Thailand. At the time Phuket Sandbox or Samui Plus were not yet available options plus I am not vaccinated yet anyway. I booked a 15 night stay in an ASQ hotel in Bangkok called Gracelands Bangkok. Prior to doing this I did some research to find a language school in Ao Nang Krabi called Alongkorn Language School.

I called the school to find out more about the application process. I was informed that due to the current situation it was only possible to apply for the Education Visa once I was in Thailand. Khru Aoy explained to me that she would send the application forms to me by email once I had arrived in Thailand.
