An explosion in the parking lot of a Gaza hospital on Tuesday dramatically increased tensions in the Middle East with angry protests across the region accusing Israel of targeting civilians.

But US President Joe Biden said during his visit to Israel that based on the information he had seen the blast was caused by a misfired rocket from within Gaza.
