Washington man builds “Grandpa Bot” to help his kids connect with late grandfather

Dr. Muhammad Ahmad created “Grandpa Bot,” an A.I. simulation that uses his late father’s recordings, letters, and stories to preserve his memory for future generations. The text-based model mimics his dad’s humor and personality, allowing Ahmad’s children to form their own bond with the grandfather they never met.
