海外艺宴之概览纽约大都会博物馆的“帝国时代：中国古代秦汉文明”特展 Overview of Ancient Qin and Han Dynasties special exhibition

2017年4 月3日，纽约大都会博物馆的“帝国时代：中国古代秦汉文明”特展将正式开幕。展览汇集了包括秦始皇兵马俑在内的160 余件中国古代艺术珍品，为观众呈现近50 年来的重要考古成就，并结合最新研究成果，深刻展示艺术在中华文化形成中至关重要的作用。本视频为特展开幕前（2017.03.31），腾讯“海外艺宴“栏目特别邀请大都会博物馆亚洲部特聘中国艺术主任，本次策展人孙志新导览。孙志新为普林斯顿大学中国美术史、考古学博士，曾任普林斯顿大学东亚资料馆主任、弗吉尼亚州立博物馆东亚艺术部主任。

本次特展的展品借展自中国32 家文博机构，涵盖陶瓷、金属、织物、雕塑、绘画、书法、建筑模型等各类珍稀文物，其中很大一部分是首次在西方展出。大都会博物馆馆长康柏堂表示，这是2017 年在美国举办的最大规模和最重要的中国艺术项目。

April 3, 2017, the New York Metropolitan Museum of the "Age of Empires: Ancient Chinese Qin and Han Dynasties" special exhibition will be officially opened. The exhibition brings together more than 160 pieces of ancient Chinese art treasures including Qin Shi Huang Terracotta Warriors and Horses, presenting the archaeological achievements of the past 50 years and combining with the latest research results to show the vital role of art in the formation of Chinese culture. This video is a special exhibition before the opening (2017.03.31), Tencent "overseas feast" section specially invited the Metropolitan Museum of Asia, the Chinese art director, the curator Sun Zhixin tour. Sun Zhixin is Princeton University Chinese art history, doctor of archeology, former director of the East Asian Museum of Princeton University, Virginia State Museum East Asia Art Director.

The exhibition exhibits a wide range of rare cultural relics, including ceramic, metal, fabric, sculpture, painting, calligraphy, architectural model, etc., which is the first time in the West. Metropolitan Museum curator Kang Pak Tong said that this is the largest and most important Chinese art project held in the United States in 2017.
