CHEMiCAL PEEL: Mindy Gets a New Face

In today’s #BehindTheBraids, I’m sharing my CHEMICAL PEEL experience with you! I filmed each stage of the process, so make sure you stay tuned throughout the video to see the before & after. Shaun and I took Dax, Pais, & Rylan to a pumpkin patch and had the best time. Kamri and Asa both went to BAYLOR to visit Brooklyn & Bailey, so they got to experience a #college #campus for a few days!

I had never done a #chemicalpeel before, so I really had no idea what to expect. I’ve been watching videos on YouTube of different people’s experiences, and the final results were always SO stunning! I think that the hardest part about the experience is just the time that it takes to see results. In the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t take that long. However, during the process you just want your skin to look pretty so badly but it WON’T STOP PEELING! 😅A couple of days in, my skin felt so dry that I wanted to submerge my head in a bucket of coconut oil. 😂I will say though, I truly think that it’s totally worth it. My skin hasn’t looked this good in years. I’ve even been skipping foundation because my skin looks so glowy on its own! There’s nothing I love more than just being able to throw on some mascara and go. 👍🏼

Kamri, Shaun, and Asa all went to see Brooklyn & Bailey in Waco. I’m so glad that they all had a chance to spend some time together! Kamri got to run around with Brooklyn and Bailey on the Baylor campus, and it’s crazy to think that she will be in college herself in just a couple of years…😳 We got to explore a pumpkin patch with Rylan, Dax, and Pais, and we are SO thrilled that the weather is cooling off in Texas. Now if Texas could make up its mind! Some days are warm, then some are cold. Either way, that means #fall is coming!
