Had an Awesome encounter with a big giant buck on public land right before gun season here in Wisconsin on November 14th. Although I was unable to get a shot, he did come in close enough for me to wet my pants and shake like a leaf! This spot has really been hit or miss for me and it all has to do with does being in heat and moving in and out of this area. If they are there, you are in luck, if they are not, you are in for a long sit. But that is how the rut goes and it's always a blast being in the woods when the chaos is going down.
